Dovetail Drafting Home

·   Dovetail Drafting Services will arrange to meet with client at our office to discuss the works to be done. The Client is required to bring any concet/sketches/photos/cutouts etc that they may have to assist with the design..

·   Dovetail Drafting Services will issue the client with a written quote based on discussions during initial meeting. Written quotes will have breakdown of drawings to be provided, plus hours, plus approximate start date.

·   The client needs to return a signed copy of the quote and pay a 25% deposit in order for the job to be booked in with Dovetail Drafting Services.

·   Dovetail Drafting Services will advise of start date after a signed quote and deposit has been received.

·     If a site visit is required Dovetail Drafting Services will carry this out before the start date.

·   Dovetail Drafting Services will produce concept sketches (basic Cad Drawings) for the client’s approval before proceeding with the final drawings.

·   A meeting to discuss the concept sketches can be held at our office and any amendments can be noted and will be attended to.

·      Dovetail Drafting Services will proceed with final working drawings. (Cad Drawn)

·      Client will be able to review final plans before being issued with four copies.

·   Dovetail Drafting Services can provide quotations from other consultants that will be required to sign the drawings before submitting the Plans to Council i.e. Structural Engineer, First Rate Energy Design Consultants, Structural Engineer, Contour Surveyors.

·   If the Clients have request, Dovetail Drafting Services can supply them with additional copies of plans at Reception Rates.

·    Clients will be notified when drawings have arrived back to our office from consultants, and they can be picked up at a time that is convenient. NOTE: Full Payment is required on delivery of drawings.
